RS86620 60A Smart Power-Stage

The RS86620 60A Smart Power-Stage is a compact 4mm × 5mm TLGA device optimized for high-density AI servers, telecom infrastructure, and multiphase voltage regulator (VRM) applications requiring high efficiency, fast switching, and a compact footprint. This monolithic half-bridge integrates high-side and low-side MOSFETs with optimized gate drivers to minimize parasitic inductance, reduce switching losses, and maximize power conversion efficiency.

Supporting a wide 2.5V to 16V input voltage range, the RS86620 operates at switching frequencies up to 3MHz with a 5V input and 2MHz with a 12V input, enabling smaller passive components and higher power density. Integrated current sensing and temperature monitoring provide accurate telemetry for advanced digital power management, while compatibility with 3.3V tri-state PWM controllers simplifies integration into modern multiphase power architectures.

Designed for reliable operation in demanding computing and networking systems, the RS86620 includes comprehensive protection features including VIN and VDD undervoltage lockout (UVLO), cycle-by-cycle overcurrent protection, high-side overcurrent protection, and overtemperature protection (OTP).
